


At The North Hill Hotel we source wherever possible, local produce for our regularly evolving menu. Our fish dishes are predominantly inshore East Coast, sourced from Mersea Island (famous for its Native oysters) and changes daily to reflect what is both fresh and available. Traditional breeds of meat such as free range Blythburgh and Gloucester Old Spot pork, Salt Marsh lamb, rare breed Long Horn and Red Poll beef all feature regularly from various farmlands of Essex. We also use locally sourced extra virgin rape seed oil from Hall Farm, Suffolk for our homemade mayonnaise and other dressings.
